Definition

The Indirect Wealth Pattern is one of the Eight Characters (BaZi) structural patterns, established when Indirect Wealth appears on the Heavenly Stem of the Month Branch or when Indirect Wealth constitutes the primary Qi of the Month Branch. Indirect Wealth symbolizes unexpected income and generosity. Individuals with this pattern excel in social interaction and readily acquire windfall earnings; they are well-suited for investment, trading, and related fields—but must guard against wealth loss caused by Friend or Rob Wealth elements.

How to Find

The Indirect Wealth Pattern is established when the primary Qi of the Month Branch (Earthly Branch) is Indirect Wealth, or when Indirect Wealth from the hidden stems of the Month Branch emerges onto a Heavenly Stem. For example, with Jia Wood as the Day Master born in the Chen month, where Wu Earth (Indirect Wealth for Jia Wood) governs the month, the Indirect Wealth Pattern is formed.
